ALPHA Holds Its Annual General Membership Meeting in March

Laguna Technopark, Biñan, Laguna – March 19, 2025

The Association of Laguna Technopark Professionals in Human Administration (ALPHA) reached a major milestone with its Annual General Membership Meeting (AGMM) at the LTAI Multi-Purpose Pavilion in Laguna Technopark. The meeting ran from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and gathered member HR professionals from across the economic zone.

The AGMM served as a formal platform to review the association’s progress and set the direction for the year ahead. The agenda included the Treasurer’s Report, presentation of regulatory requirements, and ratification of the acts of the Board of Directors. Members also confirmed the current Board and incorporators and discussed the process for upcoming elections.

A highlight of the event was the keynote address by Atty. Erwin N. Aquino, Regional Director of DOLE Region IV-A, who shared valuable insights on labor compliance and HR’s role in promoting employee welfare. The meeting concluded with an open forum, fostering collaboration and transparency.

The President’s Report introduced several important updates and plans for ALPHA. First, the organization proudly unveiled its new name and logo, symbolizing a refreshed identity and vision for the future. The official office address was confirmed now at LTAI Satellite Office, Terminal 3, East Main Avenue, Laguna Technopark, Biñan City, Laguna. Thank you to the generous support of the Laguna Technopark Association, Inc. (LTAI). The report also reaffirmed the leadership team and highlighted key provisions of the association’s bylaws, including meeting protocols, quorum requirements, voting procedures, and officer qualifications. Looking ahead, the President outlined 2025 programs and activities, such as learning sessions during our GMMs, corporate social responsibility initiatives and many more. These plans reflect ALPHA’s commitment to professional development, community engagement, and organizational transparency.

This inaugural AGMM for the new ALPHA underscores its dedication to governance, member engagement, and continuous improvement.

The Association of Laguna Technopark Professionals in Human Administration, Inc. (ALPHA) is a non-stock, non-profit organization. Its primary purpose is to organize and bring together human resource practitioners within the Laguna Technopark Economic Zone, located in the cities of Biñan and Sta. Rosa, Laguna, to promote camaraderie, mutual help, and closer relations among locator members.

ALPHA, in partnership with various government agencies, both local and national, as well as private institutions, advocates for the general interests of employees in areas such as labor-related issues, health and safety, employee welfare, wage concerns, training and development, sports development, and social responsibility, among others.
